Atherton–Todd reaction: mechanism, scope and applications
Initially, the Atherton-Todd (AT) reaction was applied for the synthesis of phosphoramidates by reacting dialkyl phosphite with a primary amine in the presence of carbon tetrachloride. These reaction conditions were subsequently modified with the aim to optimize them and the reaction was extended to different nucleophiles. The mechanism of this reaction led to controversial reports over the pas...
متن کاملIt Scope and Applications
Scope and applications Early on, social-computing studies focused on technological and user acceptance issues surrounding computer-supported collaborative work and groupware. In the last 10 years, the scope of socialcomputing research and practice has expanded tremendously with the adoption of Web and mobile technologies and with the virtualization of many facets of everyday life. From a method...
متن کاملAsymmetric hydroamination catalyzed by a new chiral zirconium system: reaction scope and mechanism.
A new class of chiral zirconium complexes supported by chiral tridentate [O(-)NO(-)]-type of ligands derived from amino acids were synthesized and structurally characterized. They catalyzed asymmetric hydroamination/cyclization of primary aminoalkenes to give five- and six-membered N-heterocyclic amines with up to 94% ee.
متن کاملThe hydroarylation reaction--scope and limitations.
The synthetic potential of stereoselective, palladium-catalyzed hydro(het)arylation reactions of bi-, tri- and tetracyclic (hetero)alkenes in the presence of phospines and arsines as highly efficient ligands was studied. The mechanism of this reductive Heck reaction becomes more complex in the case of benzonorbornenes. Hydroarylation of diazabicyclo-[2.2.1]heptenes provides a stereoselective ac...
متن کاملThe Gas Phase Oxidation of Acetaldehyde Reaction Mechanism and Kinetics
The mechanism of the low temperature oxidation of gaseous acetaldehyde was investigated in the temperature range of 1 50-400?°C. The minor, intermediate and major products were identified and measured quantitatively by sampling directly into the ionization chamber of an MS10-C2 mass spectrometer from the reactor. The formation of H2O, CO, CO2, HCOOH, H2, HCHO, CH3COOH and CH3OH as the major pro...
